You know what i hate? People who think having pseudo intellectual conversations is cool. I'm over it. Just talk about the weather, and be done with it. Which brings me to my next point. The real geniuses of today? Rappers. Actually, i refer back to the 92-95 era, when music was truly at its hey day. I'm talking about Mixalot et al. That's some good stuff. I think of this because the stupid Snoop Dogg song, "Gin and Juice" has been runnign through my head. I digresss. The real reason for theiir genius. I don't care how many degrees you have, or how many words you know, These rappers have an ability to take words and turn them into something comical and meaningful at the same time. I can't wait until the day one of them is named poet laureate of the US.

The new Hampshire primaries are tomorrow. I'm guessing that clark or kerry will win, with dean finishing in second. I'm really not so sure about dean. I like him, but i think that as a candidate he's just not up to snuff. Primarily, i have issue with the "democratic faithful" he's energized. It's really just college kids. They don't vote. It's a tough road ahead for him.
I am always irritated by media coverage of elections. If anything, they're doing nothing to enhance the level of debate in this country. they've driven personality politics to a new level - where now even the personality and charracter of the campaign staffers is more important than positions on substantive issues.
Which brings me to reality tv. Is there anything more annoying? I've been addicted to Average Joe Hawaii, and i've got to say, those people piss me off, and at the same time i can't stop watching. It's the weirdest phenomenon.

I promised everyone a little information on botswana - so here it is. Did you know that botswana, over the past thirty years has had the highest average annual gdp increases of ANY country on earth? 7.7%! is that not the craziest thing you've ever heard? A tiny land locked country in southafrica - and it's investment bonds are rated higher than japan. Go figure. anyhoo, if you're interested in these types of facts, i recommend you check out the imf website - www.imf.org - it's very cool.

There's a column in today's sun-times about how the cubs shouldn't sign maddux basically because he's over the hill, and there's nothing to gain in that. I think that's horse doo-doo. Maddux will be nothing but a great tutor to the young staff, and will provide the veteran presence that the pitchers need. Plus , he's a guaranteed gamer, and a great student of the game.
Pudge would be nice, but i prefer greg.
Hello people i don't know. I'm currently in macroeconomics class, but there are various things on my mind. First and foremost, let's talk politics. I think dean is toast. here's why - his base is college kids, they're not voting.
Next, i just finished a paper on Botswana. I think i may move there. More on that later.
Third, Cubs will win the world series in 04. I've got one large on it. They better god damn win.
Fourth. My friend hamita is reading over my shoulder. She should stop that. Actually, is it weird that I mind that she's reading mmy post now, but i'm letting all of you read it and it doesn't bother me at all? hmmm...
